LASER Credit Access

LASER Services Privacy Policy

Effective Date: September 22, 2025

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how LASER Services ("LASER," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with your use of our software applications and services, including LASER Credit Access, LASER Business Credit, LASER Financial Account Access, LASER Credit Attributes, and LASER Personal Cashflow (collectively, the "Services").

Your privacy is important to us, and we are committed to protecting it through our compliance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect information in a few different ways to provide and improve our Services.

2.1. Information You Provide to Us

  • Account and Contact Information: When you register for our Services or contact us for support, we collect information such as your name, company name, email address, and phone number.
  • Payment Information: All payments are processed through the Salesforce AppExchange. We do not directly collect or store your credit card information. We may receive transaction identifiers and summary information from the payment processor.

2.2. Information We Collect Automatically

  • Usage Data: When you use the Services, we may automatically collect information about your interactions, such as your IP address, device type, browser information, and aggregated usage statistics.
  • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We use cookies and similar technologies to help operate our Services and analyze performance.

2.3. End-Client Data We Process on Your Behalf

Our Services facilitate the processing of sensitive data, including Protected Financial Information (PFI) and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) belonging to your end clients ("End-Client Data"). We act strictly as a technology conduit.

While our Services process this End-Client Data to perform a function (e.g., sending it to a credit provider), we do not collect, store, or have access to this sensitive End-Client Data.

In this context, you are the "data controller," and we are the "data processor." We only process End-Client Data on your behalf and in accordance with your instructions, as described in our Master Terms and Conditions. We do not use this data for any of our own purposes.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect (such as your account and usage data) for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Maintain the Services: To operate our applications, process your transactions, and provide you with customer support.
  • To Improve Our Services: To understand how our customers use the Services so we can improve them and develop new features.
  • To Communicate With You: To send you service-related announcements, updates, security alerts, and administrative messages.
  • For Security and Compliance: To prevent fraud, enforce our terms, and comply with our legal obligations.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your information. We may share your account and usage information in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We may share information with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as cloud hosting and analytics. These providers are contractually obligated to safeguard your information.
  • Business Transfers: If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if we believe it is required by law, subpoena, or other legal process.

5. Data Security

We have implemented a comprehensive information security program with administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. These measures are designed to secure the data as it is processed and transmitted by our Services and to protect any account information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Services and to comply with our legal obligations.

As stated in Section 2.3, we do not store PFI or PII from your end clients after a transaction is processed.

7. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, such as the right to access, correct, or delete your data.

  • For Your Account Information: You can exercise these rights by contacting us directly.
  • For End-Client Data (PFI/PII): Because we are the data processor and do not store this data, any requests regarding End-Client Data must be directed to the data controller (your company).

8. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through a notice in the Services prior to the change becoming effective.
