What it does

Plaid Link, embedded where your team already works.

LASER ACCESS embeds the Plaid Link experience directly inside Salesforce. Your applicant authorizes a connection to their bank, payroll provider, or employer of record, and the verified data flows back to the loan record in seconds—parsed, structured, and ready for decisioning.

Bank account verification

Plaid Auth confirms account and routing numbers in real time. No more micro-deposits. No more failed ACH first payments.

Real-time balance checks

Plaid Balance verifies available funds at the moment of funding decision. Eliminates a major source of first-payment default risk.

Income & cash flow

Plaid Income returns parsed pay statements and 24-month transaction history—the data underwriters need for thin-file or non-traditional applicants.

Employment verification

Connects to payroll providers and employers of record (including ADP, Workday, Gusto) for a verified employment record.

Consumer-permissioned

Every Plaid connection is authorized by the applicant under CFPB Section 1033 consumer data access principles. Documented consent trail.

One contract, one bill

As a Plaid reseller, LASER provides Plaid coverage as part of the ACCESS package. No separate Plaid contract to negotiate or manage.

Plaid is part of the ACCESS data layer

ACCESS unifies Experian, TransUnion, Equifax, and Plaid—plus income, employment, and verification partners—into a single Salesforce-native data layer. See the full picture.

How it works

From Salesforce record to verified bank data in under a minute.

1

Loan officer triggers verification

From any Lead, Account, Opportunity, or custom loan record, your team launches a Plaid Link session with one click.

2

Applicant authorizes the connection

Plaid Link opens in the applicant's browser. They select their bank and authorize the data share. Consumer-permissioned, FCRA and Section 1033-aware.

3

Plaid returns the data

Account details, balance, identity, income, or transactions—depending on the products configured—flow back to the LASER ACCESS layer in Salesforce.

4

Data lands on the record

Parsed and structured into Salesforce objects your team can report on, your decisioning rules can use, and your auditors can review.

Why a Plaid reseller

Plaid coverage without the contract negotiation.

Smaller lenders, credit unions, and CDFIs frequently want Plaid’s data but find direct Plaid contracts complex to negotiate, price, and manage. As an authorized Plaid reseller, LASER provides access to Plaid through the LASER ACCESS package—simplifying procurement and operations.

One vendor relationship

LASER becomes your single point of contract, support, and billing for Plaid coverage. One agreement, one invoice, one phone call when you need help.

Right-sized pricing

Plaid pricing aligned to your lending volume, not built for a fintech startup. Predictable per-loan or per-pull economics.

LASER handles the plumbing

Salesforce integration, data normalization, security, error handling, and Plaid platform updates are managed by LASER, not your IT team.

Frequently asked questions

Common Salesforce Plaid integration questions.

How does the LASER Plaid integration work?

LASER Accuracy is a Plaid reseller. LASER ACCESS embeds Plaid Link directly inside Salesforce, so your applicants authorize bank, income, or employment verification from within your application flow. The data returns to the Salesforce record. You manage the lending workflow. Plaid handles the consumer-permissioned data connection.

Do we need our own Plaid account?

No. As a Plaid reseller, LASER Accuracy provides Plaid access through the LASER ACCESS managed package. You get Plaid coverage without negotiating your own Plaid contract or managing a separate Plaid dashboard.

What Plaid products are included?

LASER ACCESS supports Plaid Auth (account and routing verification), Balance (real-time balance checks), Identity (account holder verification), Income (cash flow and pay statement data), and Assets (multi-account financial snapshot). Available products vary by your plan.

Is this Salesforce-native, or does it require middleware?

Fully Salesforce-native. LASER ACCESS installs as a managed package under the LASERCA namespace and runs entirely inside Salesforce. No external middleware, no separate data warehouse, no synchronization to maintain.

How does this complement our credit bureau integrations?

Plaid complements credit bureau data, not replaces it. Bureaus tell you about historical credit behavior. Plaid tells you about current cash flow, real balances, and verified income. Many lenders pair both inside LASER ACCESS to underwrite thin-file or non-prime applicants confidently.

Is Plaid data FCRA, GLBA, and Section 1033 compliant?

Plaid operates under consumer-permissioned data access principles consistent with CFPB Section 1033, with security controls aligned to GLBA Safeguards. LASER COMPLY tracks the consent and disclosure trail for every Plaid pull. Note: Plaid data is generally not a consumer report under FCRA, but adverse action handling still applies when Plaid data drives an underwriting decision.
